Kent SeaTech

Currently, striped bass fingerlings are produced during the natural spawning season in the spring, but to meet critical market requirements Kent SeaTech needs to supply two-pound fish on a year-round basis. To accommodate the demand for uniform market-size fish, Kent SeaTech has developed techniques to regulate growth rates using water temperature and feeding regimes. Most recently, a "cold bank" system has been developed to store fingerlings and meter them into production consistently throughout the year.
